Swim team tryouts for the 2009-2010 team are on September 13th and 14th at 6:00 p.m.  You may choose either night and it is not necessary to sign-up. Coaches decisions and calls will be made on September 15th and 16th.  Practice begins September 20th.

Swim Team Tryout Details
All new swimmers who were not on our team last year must attend the tryout. Entry level swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle and 50 yards backstroke. Swimmers 13 years of age and older must swim 100 yards freestyle and 100 yards backstroke. After the try-out period ends, coaches MAY STILL HAVE TO LIMIT TEAM SIZE FOR SAFETY. There has been tremendous interest in the team. Returning team members will attend their normal sessions beginning in September 20th. YMCA membership is not required to try out, but is required for the season.

Boy’s varsity - $280

Plus--ALL participants MUST be a member of the YMCA for the entire season and will be required to have a membership scan card for registration and for entering the YMCA.

Registration for all swimmers must be completed by Sept. 30th. USA Registration is required. A copy of a birth certificate must be provided for this. Teams will attend USA Swim meets as well as dual meets.
