BLT (Buns, Legs, and Thighs)
This is low impact, done completely on the floor
and targets
your glutes, hamstrings, and inner/
outer thighs. The focus is
controlled movements ensuring core stability with high repetitions
of exercises to make sure you feel the “burn” right
where you need it most.
Cardio Sculpt
A moderate intensity workout
revolving around intervals
of cardio mixed
with intervals of light
weight training and
plyometrics. This
class keeps the
heart rate in the
fat burning zone
and sculpts
lean
toned muscles in
one effective workout.
Circuit Training
This class is designed to tone
and sculpt all
major muscles while
keeping your heart rate
up and fat burning.
You will use light weight resistance bands and barbells to
tone with bursts
of cardio between exercises to keep the
sweat pouring! Bring your towel and your water bottle!
Core and More
A low impact workout that focuses on your “powerhouse”.
You will work all aspects of the
core muscles using different
props, consistently challenging you to increase your fitness
level.
You will also perform exercises to tone your butt
and
thighs.
Cycle Training
An intermittent cycling class that is designed to
get your
heart rate into a target range, through
the use of heart rate
monitors, dependent upon
your age and physical condition.
We use music,
spin bicycles and positive coaching methods, including
visualization, to help you achieve the maximum results
from your workout. Remember
to bring your towel and
water bottle!
Fitness Cycle
A great workout that is fun, effective, and easy to learn. A
customized stationary racing bike gives a smooth workout for
the beginner to advanced cyclists. This class will increase your
overall endurance through interval training, speed drills, hills
and flats. Don’t forget your towel and water bottle—YOU
WILL SWEAT!
Kickboxing
This is a freestyle kicking and punching workout
sure to
relieve stress and get your heart pumping.
Power Pump
Shaping and sculpting your body through light
weight training.
Running Group
Whether you are a seasoned runner or just beginning, this
group run will get you outside, running, and feeling confident.
We will meet in
the lobby and head to the roads around
Malta.
You will run with a coach who provides you with
motivation, encouragement, and gear and safety
tips. You will
run intervals, hills, and sprints and
at a steady pace to build
endurance and speed effectively. This class is held in the
Spring,
Summer and Fall I Sessions.
Sculpt
Full body toning class designed to get your
body stronger and
sculpted.
SilverSneakers ® I - Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Please check the schedule for days and times.

Step
This is a high energy cardio class that uses the step bench.
Customize your intensity with additional risers. This class is
appropriate for both the new and experienced stepper.
Tabata
This a hot, new intense workout! The hour consists of alternating
cardio and strength training drills: first 20 seconds of
intense work followed by 10 seconds of lower intensity work
repeated 8 times in a row per circuit. You will sweat, burn
major calories, and the time will fly by.
Zumba
A fusion of Latin rhythms and international music with easy to-follow moves to create a dynamic, fun, and effective cardio
workout. The class features an interval training format incorporating
fast and slow rhythms and resistance training to tone
and sculpt your body while burning fat. You will have a
GREAT time and sweat!
Mind/Body Classes
Pilates
A series of exercises based on pilates principles geared to
strengthen and lengthen muscles as well as focus on the core.
Pilates props utilizes weights, balls, and more to increase the
intensity of your pilates routine.
Yoga
Come join us for meditation, breath work/ pranayama, postures
(asanas), and relaxation! We practice balance, strength,
and flexibility. Yoga Stretch focuses on increasing flexibility.
Yoga-lates Fusion
This class combines traditional pilates toning exercises with
yoga stretch and relaxation. All exercises have modifications
to suit any level.

Get F.I.T.
(Fitness with Individualized Training)
If you’re ready to be fit and need some help getting started,
this is the program for you! In this 7 week program, we will
set SMART goals to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Your trainer
will help to facilitate change, develop action plans, and offer
exercise accountability.

W.O.W. (Women on Weights)
This group training course is designed to teach women several strength training exercises for each body part using physio balls, dumbbells, body weight, bands, and tubing.
Sessions: 7 week program
Days/Times: Tuesday and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
Fees: Members pricing -
$20 for one day a week per session
$40 for two days a week per session
$60 for three days a week per session

Personal Training
Individual, Two-Person and Group
Personal Training
This service provides one-on-one training with a certified
instructor who can assess your current strength and
flexibility levels and customize a program just for you. These
workouts will incorporate free weights, dumbbells, ab exercises
and much more. Individual Personal Training prices start
at $30/hour and for two people it is a flat rate of $50/hour.
3 people x $25.00 = $75.00 per hour
4 people x $20.00 = $80.00 per hour
5 people x $16.00 = $80.00 per hour
6 people x $13.35 = $80.00 per hour
7 people x $11.45 = $80.00 per hour
8 people x $10.00 = $80.00 per hour
We now offer private training to groups of 3 to 8 people
at a time. Led by a certified personal trainer, these one hour
sessions are designed to offer our members the value of
personal training with a reduced cost. For more
